Wide-view situational review
OfficialOfficial · updated Nov 4, 2026 · v1.0.0
Steps back from an urgent number or event in the way Musashi's Book of Five Rings describes the gaze: lists the surface, sets it against history, reads the other side, then acts, watches, or lets go.

When to use it
- A metric swing, an alert, or one loud message has the team reacting
- A competitor's announcement is pushing a fast response
- Before a decision meeting, to separate real changes from noise
What you give it
- The pending decision or the event that started it
- Surface events with dates and sizes
- 8 to 12 periods of history for the same numbers
- What customers, rivals, or partners actually did
What you get
A one-page review: surface events, the same events against history, slow changes tied to the decision, the other side's intent, each event sorted into act, watch with a trigger, or let go, and a standing set of signals.
